New Silver Condor CCX – Performance and practicality for vast waters

Silver expands its boat range by introducing the new Condor CCX centre console model at the Helsinki International Boat Show in February 2026. With a hull length of just over eight meters, the Condor CCX is the largest open boat in Silver’s aluminium lineup. The new model has been designed primarily for maritime transport and utility use, large open waters and year-round operation, while also being well suited for more demanding leisure boating and fishing.

Despite the challenging market conditions in the Nordics, Silver continues to strongly invest in product development and design of new boat models, driven by a firm belief in the future of the Finnish boatbuilding industry. As a result of this ongoing R&D work, the new Silver Condor CCX will be unveiled at the Helsinki Boat Show. It is the tenth model in Silver’s aluminium X series and the third centre console model in the current range. Condor CCX is, with the exception of the console out of fiberglass, constructed entirely of aluminium, and it is built to withstand harsh weather conditions and demanding use.

The hull design ensures smooth and controlled performance across a wide speed range. A virtually non-existent planing threshold allows for economical cruising even at lower speeds. When required, the boat also excels in fast transits, as it reaches a top speed of more than 50 knots with the maximum engine allowed, a 350 hp outboard. Thanks to its sharp bow design, the boat behaves predictably and is stable to handle even in challenging sea conditions.

The centre console layout provides generous open deck space for transporting large or long goods, while also ensuring excellent movability in the boat while docking, fishing and handling cargo. There is ample open space in front of the console, and behind the windscreen four separate sport seats offer comfort and support even on longer journeys. Storage capacity is extensive, including a large storage compartment in the bow, a fixed storage box in front of the console, a full-width stern bench with plenty of storage underneath, and large rope and anchor lockers on both sides of the engine well. The console also features practical storage for smaller items.

The console itself has been completely redesigned with ergonomics and functionality as key priorities. A high windscreen out of glass together with practical side doors on both sides of the console provide effective protection from wind and seaspray. The sizable  dashboard offers plenty of space for chartplotters, auxiliary displays and other electronics. All gauges and controls are positioned within easy reach of the driver, allowing full focus on navigation in demanding conditions. Integrated steps at the front corners of the console make boarding and disembarking easier when the boat is moored side-on.

The standard equipment of the new Condor CCX highlights both practicality and safety. Stylish black aluminium side rails run along the boat, providing securety for all passengers even in rough conditions. The bow and stern benches, aft swim platforms and rope/anchor boxes in the stern are covered with Smartdeck® EVA material, which insulates against cold/heat and enhances comfort and safety in all conditions. The large anchor boxes and swim platforms, together with the standardly fitted equipment/waterski arch in the stern, increase the boat’s versatility, allowing the aft deck to be used, for example, as a casting platform when fishing.

The boat can be equipped with additional accessories such as an automatic trim system, a bow thruster, power steering, a tiltable steering wheel, suspension seat pedestals and a wireless charging station for mobile devices. The transom is designed for an outboard engine of 250–350 horsepower, and the large 310-liter fuel tank gives it an approximate range of up to 250 nautical miles on a single fill.

The Silver Condor CCX has been initially designed to meet the growing demand for durable, versatile transport and utility boats on domestic and export markets alike. Silver boats are still today designed and manufactured in Finland. The plan is to expand the Condor aluminum boat range to also include a dual-console BRX model.

The new Silver Condor CCX will be premiered at the Helsinki International Boat Show February 6–15, 2026. The complete Silver model range can be seen in stand 6k48, located right next to the northern entrance.
